The Glass Fiberoptics Lightguides use 50 µm fibres bundled together to form required active diameter, while Plastic Fiberoptics Lightguides use 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, or 3mm fibers.

Temperature Limit

Generally Glass Fiberoptics Lightguides can withstand up to 2500c. While Plastic Lightguides can operate safely up to 700c. Higher Temperatures on request.
